Clyngwyn Farm Bunkhouse and Cafe is in the south of the Brecon Beacons National Park in South Wales. We are just under an hour from Cardiff and about 35 minutes from Swansea. Brecon is half an hour to the north of us.

We are on the main road between Pontneddfechan and Ystradfellte. There is a small official Waterfalls car park by a cattle grid with a narrow lane down the right hand side of it. There is a yellow ‘Bunkhouse’ sign on the fence. Go down the lane until you reach a wooden gate and a cattle grid. You will see a long white house in front you of. You have arrived. If you don’t see the house, you are in the wrong place. Please don’t rely on a mobile signal as it is patchy at best.
Drive carefully. There are lots of sheep, ponies, people and dogs, none of which are very predictable. 10 mph MAX down the lane and on site. This is walking speed. We try to do everything we can not to kill or injure anyone or anything.
The Bunkhouse is the stone building on the left. On arrival, the centre door will be unlocked. If you are camping, please check in at the Cafe just in through the gate on the left before 7pm

Public Transport
We do not recommend using public transport to get to Clyngwyn Farm. The nearest train station is Aberdare or Neath and you can get a bus to Glynneath. There is however no bus service up to Clyngwyn Farm and public transport is not available to get you from here to Pen y Fan for example.
It is for this reason that visitors to Clyngwyn drive here.
