Camping at Clyngwyn FARM

From Easter to the end of September, weather permitting, you can camp at Clyngwyn Farm.

Alternatively, we offer camping for organised groups, such as walking groups, scouts, school groups, DoE, If you book for your group, you will have exclusive use of the camping field.

Clyngwyn is a 2 minute walk to the Four Waterfalls Trail and offers amazing views. Add to that the ability to stay in a Designated Dark Sky areas with total peace and quiet, in your own little piece of paradise and there you have it. Instant relaxation. No need to drive anywhere.

Our mission here at Clyngwyn is to protect this special environment by welcoming organised groups and adults who are looking for a quiet, low key camping experience. No loud music, no shouting, no noise at all after 10.30pm and no partying. Just no disturbing anyone else. Simple really.

We believe that in order for everyone to be able to enjoy this amazing environment, it is important that we deliver on our campers expectations very clearly from the outset so you can be sure that your camping experience will be a peaceful one.

We have basic facilities – portaloos, firepit, cold tap –  so we operate a 2 night max stay. If you want to stay longer, please let us know.

PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT HAVE – SHOWERS, ELECTRIC HOOK UP, THE ABILITY TO TAKE CARAVANS. ACCESS TO THE CAMPING FIELD IS WEATHER DEPENDENT. NO NOISE, NO LOUD MUSIC.

Camping at Clyngwyn gives you location. We have a beautiful field for you to pitch your tent, light a fire in the fire pit and look at the stars. There are literally hundreds of walks on our doorstep. 

You are welcome to bring your dog as long as they are very friendly, both to other dogs and to humans and they must be neutered and vaccinated as we have dogs on site. You must keep your dog on a lead on site and ensure that you clean up after them. You cannot leave your dog on site while you go out. You must take your dog with you. For most of the Spring and Summer months, there are sheep and lambs around, often unexpectedly! Your dog absolutely MUST be under control at all times.

  • Communal fire pit area where you are welcome to sit and while away the evening, watching the stars and listening to the sheep! When there has been lots of rain, you can clearly hear the crashing of the waterfalls.
  • Charcoal BBQ provided for you to use. BYO Charcoal.
Options available:
  • Fire Pack with firelighters, kindling and enough logs for a night by the fire
  • Breakfast Rolls and Coffee/Tea/Hot Chocolate
  • Insect repellent if required

Unless you are camping as part of an event or wedding at Clyngwyn, we will only ever allow 6 tents or camper vans at any one time. This means that everyone has lots of space and there is absolutely no over-crowding. You can park by your tent. Weather permitting.

There is no electricity to the pitches, but there is the facility to plug in and recharge your devices undercover.
